Our bathroom renovation process

Visit our Showroom
Come in and we will show you our products in action. Our beautiful showroom shows off both of our cabinet lines, selections of fixtures, tile, flooring, and hardware. Our staff will talk you through the process to get you started.
Bring photos and dimensions
When you are in the showroom bring the photos and the measurements of your bathroom as it is. Work with our designers
Back at the office our design team puts together some proposed layouts. We meet you in the design studio to go through the options, make some selections, and fine tune the design.
Our construction team takes a look
Once the layout is finalized, sometimes before, our project manager and construction team gets involved. We look at site conditions, plumbing, venting, electrical, and assess for any potential items to address.
The budget process
With all of the design work done and input from our construction team, we finalize your proposal. Our process allows us to provide a fixed price contract with minimal, if any, allowances. We do our best to anticipate what we can see or what we can assume from our experience.
Your new bathroom gets underway
With a signed contract and deposit we order all of your materials. Your project will be scheduled once we know the expected arrival of the your selections. Most bathroom projects can start within a few weeks.

We will turn your bathroom renovation quote around quickly so you can get renovating sooner.

Bathroom Renovation questions

Do not see your question? Call us at 250-561-1888 or come by the showroom. We are happy to walk you through it.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

It depends on scope, and every project is different. If it is a shower or tub replacement, that is usually one to two weeks on site once the material is here. A full bathroom back to studs takes longer, and moving plumbing or walls adds time again. Waiting on materials is often the bigger factor. We start once everything has arrived at our warehouse so the work can run straight through, and you will have a schedule for your project before we begin.

It depends on scope of work you want us to do. Replacing a tub or shower in the existing footprint costs less than moving plumbing or walls. Materials matter too, since acrylic, tile, and stone are different price points for the same space. Bring photos and dimensions to your first visit and we can price your project from there.

Your price is built to hold. We finish the design, the selections, and the construction assessment before you ever see a number, so what you sign is what you pay. The two things that can move the pricing is you might change your mind on something along the way, which happens all the time and is completely fine. Or we find something nobody could have seen, like old wiring or water damage. Either way, we stop, write up a change order showing what we found and what it costs, and nothing moves forward until you say yes.

Acrylic panels are the fastest and most affordable option for a shower or tub surround. Stone or porcelain slab covers a wall in one or two pieces with almost no seams, at a higher cost. Our personal favourite is Tile it gives you the most design control. Larger tile and rectified tile both reduce grout lines. We can show you all three in the showroom.

Yes. Every bathroom we build gets plywood backing in the walls before drywall, so a grab bar or support rail can be added later without opening the wall. We can also work with larger tubs and more open shower space when accessibility is a priority.

Yes, before any demolition as it is required in BC before renovation work begins. If testing finds asbestos, a licensed abatement contractor removes it before we can start the renovation process.

No, but you can if you prefer. We coordinate every trade on your project, but if you like you are welcome to bring your own. It is your choice.
